Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
Dress in comfortable, loose clothing and sneakers (some movement will be required).

Auditions for Smoke on the Mountain
A bluegrass gospel music comedy
Produced by Lexington Stage Company, presented by Studio Players
Director: Michael Grice
Musical Director: Mitch Barrett
Roles available for: 3 women, 4 men (ages 18-50)
Must be able to sing, harmonize, and be proficient with at least one of the following instruments:
Acoustic guitar, acoustic bass, piano, mandolin,
fiddle, banjo, harmonica, penny whistle, dulcimer
Audition will require a gospel or bluegrass song no more than 2 minutes in length to be performed with a musical instrument of choice. Piano provided.
Stage resume and/or 8”x10” headshot photo not required but most welcomed.
Acting/stage experience is not required but helpful.
Reading musical notation is very useful but not required.
